Record list — accessibility
Keyboard
Whatever the remaining consumers implement; nothing here is guaranteed, and nothing new should depend on it. The canon's contract is in item-list: a row that opens something is a real <button> or <a>, a static row is a <div> and takes no tab stop.
ARIA
Not specified for this pattern. item-list defines the canonical shape (role="list" + role="listitem" wrappers around row buttons); a screen still on RecordList should be measured against that when it is migrated, not against this page.
Focus
The foundation ring from ds.css applies to any real control inside it (outline: 2px solid var(--accent); outline-offset: 1px), and record-list.css does not switch it off.
Contrast
Not audited. The pattern is deprecated, so the tokens it uses have not been re-measured against the current palette and must not be assumed to pass.
Known limits
- Deprecated: not audited, not maintained, and not to be extended.
- Any accessibility work on a screen that still uses it is better spent moving that screen to
item-listthan improving this.
